Wigan came from behind to take get a 3-2 victory that saw Arouna Kone, Callum McManaman and James McArthur all score with Shaun Maloney get a pair of assists and Jean Beausejour pick up the other assist.
The only disappointment for Wigan last weekend was that we saw Jean Beausejour stretchered off with Martinez stating that he will likely miss the FA Cup final next weekend.
Wigan are again on form at the right time of the season and if they win their game against Swansea tomorrow night then they will be out of the bottom three. Continued Fantasy Football investment is advised as despite their last three games coming against Swansea, Arsenal and Aston Villa they are on form and getting the fantasy football points we all crave.
Irish Times Fantasy Premier League managers should take note that Wigan will play on Tuesday evening this week against Wigan. They have no game this weekend as they are playing in the FA Cup final on Saturday afternoon against Manchester City.
