Daniel Sturridge continued to flourish for Liverpool increasing his fantasy premier league points haul in Luis Suarez’s absence. The young English striker scored two goals and claimed an assist as Liverpool hammered Newcastle 0-6 at the Sports Direct Arena last weekend.
Sturridge is on form as he also got a goal and an assist against Chelsea the previous week.
We were expecting big fantasy football points from Sturridge when he moved to Liverpool earlier this year and although game time has been limited he has produced seven goals and six assists in eleven Premier League games.
With Suarez out for the rest of the season due to his 10 game ban for biting Chelsea’s Ivanovic a lot of fantasy premier league managers are not looking at Sturridge.
Brendan Rogers men finish the season against Fulham and QPR which are very tempting fixtures as fantasy managers look to get the edge on their competitors.
