We are well and truly into the business end of the season and for fantasy manager the fixture weeks are running out as those who need it try and make up the ground on their rivals.
Round 35 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League once again throws up plenty of opportunities for managers to pick up points and at this stage in the season there are no more important positions than the three available to managers up front.
Our coaches have once again been frisking the fixtures come up with three strikers that look odds on to bring him the points this coming weekend and as we all know points make prises.
So here are our coaches selections for the impending round of fantasy fixtures.
Robin van Persie (Manchester United) £8.5 million Fixture: Arsenal (Away)
Having had an enormous hand in Manchester United title winnings season, not only with his hat-trick on Monday night but throughout the season with his contribution of a massive 24 goals RVP is one to have this week.
Carlos Tevez (Manchester City) £7.4 million Fixture: West Ham (Home)
Manchester City’s title hopes were finally laid to rest on Monday night as United went on to claim their 20th league title, but for City their season isn’t over as they look to ensure they finish second behind their neighbours.
Christian Benteke (Aston Villa) £5.5 million Fixture: Sunderland (Home)
This weekend’s game between Aston Villa and Sunderland is probably one of, if not the most important game to be played this coming weekend. With both side still looking for points to secure their safety the ramifications of a loss for either side could be huge.
