Carlos Tevez Makes A Return To Haunt Hammers

Manchester City’s title hopes were finally laid to rest on Monday night as United went on to claim their 20th league title, but for City their season isn’t over as they look to ensure they finish second behind their neighbours.

With four goals in his last seven Tevez looks bang on form to face his former club this weekend.

With rumours coming from the Manchester City camp that there are worries over the fitness of Sergio Aguero with reports suggesting that he has trouble with his hamstring fantasy managers may need to look elsewhere for City coverage up front.

Carlos Tevez is the obvious choice for fantasy managers looking to invest in the City attack and having notched up four goals in his last seven games it makes perfect sense to have a look at the former West Ham striker.

Tevez of course spent a season at West Ham and as we all know players have a habit of upping their game when they face off against a former club and with West Ham having already secured safety they will not have much to play for this weekend.

The Hammers away record when it comes to clean sheets is far from impressive when going up against clubs in the top half of the table having only managed to keep Liverpool under wraps this season.

The reverse of this fixture did finish in a scoreless draw at the Etihad earlier in the season but given City’s need for points is greater than that of West Ham’s and Tevez will be one to keep a close eye this coming weekend.
