As we prepare for this weekend’s fantasy action our coaches have been listening intently to all the managers press conferences and compiled all the latest team news for you to be aware of ahead of round 34 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League.
We start this weekend’s run down at Craven Cottage Martin Jol has announced that Damien Duff will miss the visit of Arsenal tomorrow, while Sascha Riether will be assessed ahead of the game. QPR boss Harry Redknapp has no new injury worries ahead of their clash with Stoke while the Potters on the other hand will still be without Matthew Ertherington after he failed to recover from a knock. Paolo Di Canio will still be without Steven Fletcher who has an ankel injury and Craig Gardner who is suspended until the 29th of April. Everton boss David Moyes has also admitted that this weekend’s game will probably come to soon for Leon Osman.
Over at St Mary’s Saints boss Pochettino has revealed that Kelvin Davies is a doubt for this weekend but apart from that he has a full squad to choose from. West Brom will have Liam Ridgewell back for their game with Newcastle, while Alan Pardew has concerns over Hatem ben Arfa after he admitted that fatigue could be to cause for his poor form of late, Sylvain Marveaux is out of the game and Cheick Tiote a “big doubt” for Newcastle’s trip to West Brom.
There could be good new for fantasy premier league managers after Tottenham boss Andrea Villas Boas has said that he is “Pretty Confident” Gareth Bale could return this weekend along with Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe.
And finally Manchester City number 2 Brian Kidd has confirmed that both Sergio Aguero and David Silva are still both doubtful ahead of City’s game with Manchester City.
