Round 34 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League is already in full swing after Arsenal and Everton kicked off the fixture week last night with their 0-0 draw at the Emirates, which will have been good news for those of you who back Baines as our coaches suggested.
With three games down for decision tonight there is still time to make changes to you team for this evening’s games, but if you are happy with you team for tonight then here are some midfielders that are certainly worth considering for this coming weekend.
With many managers looking to make up ground this week’s midfielders are all differentials that have produced the goods over the last few weeks and look likely to do so again in round 34.
Michu (Swansea) £3.9 million Fixture: Southampton (Home)
Swansea were of course one of the teams that did not feature in round 33 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League which will have come as a disappointment to meny fantasy managers with funds invested in the Welsh outfit.
Robert Snodgrass (Norwich) £3.8 million Fixture: Reading (Home)
Chris Hugton’s men have had a rather disappointing run of results of late after their mid-season flourish, having not won any of their last six they will be keen to buck the trend this weekend and try get ever closer to that magic 40 point mark.
Stephane Sessegnon (Sunderland) £4.2 million Fixture: Everton (Home)
There is only one name on the lips of Sunderland fans and that is Paolo Di Canio. The name on fantasy premier league managers lips after last weeks performance is most certainly Stephane Sessegnon.
David Silva (Manchester City) £5.7 million Fixture: Tottenham (Away)
Manchester City may be out of the title race but holding onto automatic qualification for the Champions League and finishing behind Manchester United will be top of Roberto Mancini’s list of priorities along with beating Wigan in the FA Cup Final next month.
