As usual on a Thursday here in the managers office we have turned our attention to those three very valuable strikers positions in your fantasy premier league team.
Round 33 of course does not quite have the full complement of games, there are only 14 teams in action but that being said there is still plenty to choose from ahead of this weekend’s fantasy action.
At this point in the season for those who are chasing down the leaders it is all about having a few differentials ensuring that not only can you keep pace, but you can make up ground by having player that your league opponents don’t.
So with that in mind our coaches have picked out three forwards with plenty of differential potential heading into round 33 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League, so depending on you needs you may select one, two or even all three if needs be.
Gervinho (Arsenal) £6.0 million Fixture: Norwich (Home)
If we turn the clocks back four weeks it would have been hard to imagine that Gervinho would be a player that we would be touting fantasy managers to consider for their team, but that is exactly what has happened.
Christian Benteke (Aston Villa) £5.5 million Fixture: Fulham (Home)
Having looked somewhat dead and buried only a few weeks ago Aston Villa have given themselves a fighting chance of survival after picking up nine points from a possible 18 on offer.
Jay Rodriguez (Southampton) £5.4 million Fixture: West Ham (Home)
Southampton go in this weekend’s Premier League fixtures with a chance to ensure their league survival for another year, they currently sit on 37 point and a win against West Ham this weekend would guarantee their Premier League status for another season.
