Looking ahead to round 32 of The Irish Times Fantasy Premier League things are beginning to heat up at both ends of the table as clubs begin to run out of games to either get themselves out of trouble or grab one of those all important european places.
For fantasy managers the same can be said, with games running out managers will have to be on the ball if they are to make a late charge up the leagues and claim top spot come May.
As usual our coaches here in the managers office are hot on the heels of those players who can make the difference this coming weekend and with all those listed below still in the mix for european football or fighting to avoid a relegation dog fight they are expecting big things from them this weekend.
Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle) £3.6 million Fixture: Fulham (Home)
Having started his career at St James Park with a flourish netting three goals and two assits in his first four games, Sissoko’s form has dipped in the following four with the French man only managing a solitary assist during that time.
Gareth Bale (Tottenham) £5.4 million Fixture: Everton (Home)
Heading into this weekend’s game with Everton Spurs will be keen to keep the pressure on second place Manchester City and with City making a trip to Old Trafford Tottenham could find themselves two points behind come Monday if they can beat the Toffee’s and City slip up against United.
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) £ 5.8 million Fixture: West Ham (Home)
The England internationals home form this season has be unwavering and this has come to the fore in recent week with the Liverpool number eight chipping in with five goals and four assists in his last seven home appearances.
Santi Cazorla (Arsenal) £4.4million Fixture: West Brom (Away)
Having been hotly tipped heading into round 31 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League the Spanish international didn’t disappoint as he notched up a goal and an assist against Reading last time out.
