Sir Alex has hinted he will rest players this weekend against Sunderland

As we deal with the snow and the effects it has on our daily commute to work, we are again dusting off our fantasy premier league teams after the international break.

Some of the players outlined below played well for their country and as we know, international form carries through to the Premier League which is what we are all after.

Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted that he may rest a number of players against Sunderland as he looks to give his side “freshness” ahead of their FA Cup Quarter Final replay with Chelsea on Easter Monday.

Santi Cazorla (Arsenal) £4.4million Fixture: Reading (Home)

Arsenal are on a good run in the Premier League winning four of their last five Premier League games. The race for Champions League qualification is really heating up as the country is consumed by the current cold spell.


Gareth Bale (Tottenham) £5.4 million Fixture: Swansea (Away)

In a week that has seen Gareth Bale sign a three year deal with the new BT Sports Channels in the UK that will see him augment his role for Tottenham with a punditry position we are again tipping Gareth Bale for your fantasy premier league team.



Andros Townsend (QPR) £3.7 million Fixture: Aston Villa (Away)

Harry Redknapp has started Andros Townsend in five of QPR’s last six Premier League games. Over this period the Tottenham loanee has improved his performances getting two goals and two assists from his last two Premier League games.
