Nacho Ready To Derail Royals

Arsenal’s ups and downs have been well documented over recent times but with the Gunners having only lost one of their last six their league form has not suffered as much as you might think.

Three clean sheets, a goal and an assits since his arrival mean his fantasy prospects are on the up.

Looking ahead to round 31 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League the Gunners welcome Reading to the Emirates this weekend in a game that will have big implications for both sides should they lose.

Nacho Monreal is a player we have spoken about quite a bit since his move to London in the January transfer window and he recent performances suggest that there is more to come from the former Málaga man.

There is a slight concern that his place in the Arsenal starting line up may be under threat with the return of Kieron Gibbs from injury but with a goal, an assist and three clean sheets in his last five games for the Gunners it seems unlikely that he will be dropped.

Reading make the trip to the Emirates with new boss Nigel Adkins at the helm after the Royals unveiled him as their new manager this morning, but despite the fact that the former Southampton boss will be at the helm this game may have come too soon for him to have an impact on the struggling outfit.

Like we said with three clean sheets in their last five games the Gunners seem to have gotten it together at the back and while Reading will be looking to get back on track it seems highly unlikely that they will get anything from this game and with Monreal finding his form going forward don’t be surprised to see him add to his goal or assist tally.
