Fantasy Football Tips: Midfielders For Round 30 Of The Irish Times Fantasy Premier League

It’s that time of the week again when we turn out attention to perhaps one of the most profitable areas of the pitch when it comes to fantasy management, the midfield.

Midfielders this season have produced far more points than in other season and with so many playing well and producing attacking returns it can be difficult to know just which ones are right for your team on any given week.

Round 30 is looming large and with only a matter of weeks until the end of the season, fantasy managers are going to need to find a differential or two that can help them make up ground in their mini leagues.

With that in mind our coaches have come up with some midfield differentials for your consideration ahead of round 30 that will hopefully not only bring in the points but give you the edge over your rivals.

 

Stewart Downing (Liverpool) £4.1 million Fixture: Southampton (Away)

Since making his big money mover from Aston Villa in 2011 Stewart Downing’s impact on the Liverpool team has been questionable, at best, but with the teams form beginning to be pick up the England international has also raised his game in recent weeks.

 

Gareth Bale (Tottenham) £5.4 million Fixture: Fulham (Home)

Right so it’s heading for round 30 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League and you are looking to make up ground on your league opponents right? Well then firstly you should be concerned about not loosing ground.

Junior Hoilett (QPR) £4.0 million Fixture: Aston Villa (Away)

Sometimes in football it is difficult to put your finger on just how a team manage to turn things around when they looked doomed for the for the drop and while this could be said of QPR’s recent purple patch if you look closely there are one or two things we can put our finger on.

Having emphatically beaten Everton in the F.A Cup last weekend all the signs are there that Wigan are about to burst into life and for fantasy managers this is one of  the best times to pick up a differential or two as you look to close the gap on the league leaders.
