To say round 29 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League is a somewhat problematic week for fantasy managers would be an understatement as may struggle to field a starting XI to to the curtailed fixture schedule.
But despite the fact that there are only six games down for decision there are still plenty of opportunities for fantasy managers to find points in this shortened fixture week and as usual our coaches are on hand to guide you through the choppy fantasy waters to calmer tides.
So with time running out ahead of this weekend’s action let’s take a look at those striker tipped for success this weekend.
Loic Remy (QPR) £6.0 million Fixture: Sunderland (Home)
Having made a goalscoring return last time out against Southampton Remy will be keen to continue his reasonable impressive start to life in the premier league going and with two goals in four appearances he will be hopefully of finally grabbing his first goal at Loftus Road with the Black Cat’s come to town.
Romelu Lukaku (West Brom) £6.0 million Fixture: Swansea (Home)
Looking back at last weekend’s game between Chelsea and West Brom there is no douting that the Baggies looked devoid of any real penetration and just seem to lack that cutting edge in the absence of their leading goalscorer Romelu Lukaku, who was forced to miss out on the game due to the terms of his loan deal.
Luis Suarez (Liverpool) £7.1 million Fixture: Tottenham (Home)
Having lead the line last weekend in the absence of the injured Daniel Sturridge it is unclear whether or not he will do so again as we await news on whether or not Sturridge has recovered from an ongoing thigh problem.
