At this point in the season the headline says it all “Still can’t go without Bale”. With only six game down for decision this coming weekend in the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League fantasy managers are limited in the selections they can make but either way Bale was always going to be included.
The Tottenham midfielder has been on the radar for weeks now and at this point if you do not have him in your fantasy premier league team we have to ask the question, Why not?
With seven goals in five games the Welsh international in the most inform player in the fantasy premier league and has averaged a massive 9 points per game over the course of the last five games, which is unheard of from a midfielder.
While many Bale’s recent returns have come against so called lower league opposition his performance against Arsenal last time out has proved that he can do it in the bigger games.
Of course Liverpool will be fully aware of the threat Bale possess going into this weekend’s game they will still struggle to contain him in that free flowing central midfield role he is currently operating in.
The corresponding fixture last season finished in a 0-0 all draw, but with Bale in such good form on the road this season grabbing 12 of his 16 goals on his travels the chances of this one finishing scoreless are rather low.
