Fantasy Football Tips: Midfielders For Round 29 Of The Irish Times Fantasy Premier League

Heading into round 29 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League there is no doubting that the shortage of games is going to have an effect on managers selection process but with so many midfielders currently on form and producing attacking returns there certainly is a shortage of viable options.

As always our coaches having been friskings the fixtures and come up with solutuions to your midfield selections issues ahead of the impending fixture week, so with so much to contend with this week, let’s get a closer look at just who our coaches are tipping for returns.


Phillippe Coutinho (Liverpool) £4.1 million Fixture: Tottenham (Away)

While there is no doubting that Luis Suarez grabbed all the headlines over last weekend as he grabbed a hat-trick against Wigan, the performance of Philippe Coutinho showed that he too offers fantasy managers a viable option in the Liverpool midfield.



Gareth Bale (Tottenham) £5.4 million Fixture: Liverpool (Home) 

With seven goals in five games the Welsh international in the most inform player in the fantasy premier league and has averaged a massive 9 points per game over the course of the last five games, which is unheard of from a midfielder.



Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle) £3.6 million Fixture: Stoke (Home)

Despite failing to produce any attacking returns last time Moussa Sissoko is still on to be watched closely heading into round 29 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League as Newcastle take on Stoke at St James Park.



Michu (Swansea) £3.9 million Fixture: West Brom (Away)

Having already secured the Capital One Cup trophy this season, Swansea’s season looks to be on the up and in returned to league  last weekend with a 1-0 win over Newcastle last weekend they were the first side to win their first game after securing the title in three years.
