It seems like there is no shaking off Newcastle’s new boy Moussa Sissoko, the Magpie’s recent acquisition has hit the ground running since his arrival and is one that every fantasy premier league manager should be monitoring closely.
For a second week running the French international finds his way into out thoughts ahead of the impending fixture week and there is no doubting that he certainly deserves to be there.
After picking up another goal at the weekend Sissoko has now netted three goals and two assists in just four games for Alan Pardew’s side and he was instrumental in helping the Magpie’s come from a goal down to beat the Saints in round 27.
At this point I’m sure many fantasy managers are thinking that his current vein of form can’t last and perhaps their are right but when you have a player delivering the goods week in week out it is hard to look past him.
Newcastle make the trip to Wales this weekend to take on the new crowned league cup champions and although spirits will be high around the Liberty Stadium you have to wonder what a week of celebrating the clubs first trophy in their 101 year history will have done to their concentration levels.
