Having looked at de Gea’s prospects prior to round 27 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League we were quietly confident going into the weekend that the Spanish international could keep yet another clean sheet against QPR and he duly obliged.

Three clean sheets in a row means de Gea is very hard to over look for the coming weekend.

Round 28 is yet another week where by it is hard to look past De Gea for yet another clean sheet as the current league leaders welcome Chris Hughton’s Norwich to Old Trafford.

The Canaries have struggled for goals in recent times despite bolstering their attacking threat in the January transfer window.

Norwich did manage to put two past Everton last time out much to the surprise to many but there is no doubting that Manchester United is a completely different prospect.

United have been solid at the back and having conceded only three goals in eight games the confidence is bound to be high at the Theater of Dreams going into this one at the weekend.

At £4.5 million de Gea is decent value for not only this week but for the coming weeks and with many managers looking to make a charge up the tables in the final week de Gea could be the keeper to help you do that.
