Having slipped up last time out against Liverpool at the Eithad Manchester City will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face Southampton in round 26 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League.
City travel to St Mary’s on the back of two less than desirable results that has seen them slip to nine points behind their Manchester neighbours in the race for the league title.
Despite their recent results City have only conceded two goals in their last five games which has seen them race clear at the top of the clean sheet table with 11 clean sheets to their credit.
With one goal and four clean sheets in his last five games Pablo Zabaleta has been on an amazing run of form for City and he looks like showing no sign of slowing down heading into round 26.
City travel to a Southampton side that are looking to give their manager Mauricio Pochettino his first win in charge but with the Saints going up against a side that have only conceded 10 goals on the road this season it could be a tall order for the Saints.
Southampton have only managed 15 goals at home this season which is a less than impressive stat that will give City and fantasy managers encouragement heading into this weekend’s fixture.
