The Liverpool defences has been less than solid on the road, but with two home games on the card for round 26 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League their clean sheet prospects look a lot better.
Liverpool have not conceded a goal at home in their last three games and have actually have the best defensive record at home this season having only conceded 10 goals in 12 games at Anfield.
Glen Johnson has been ever present at the back this season for Brendan Rogers’ side having only misses two games all season back in round 9 and 10 due to injury. The England international has scored one goal and chipped in with four assists for the Reds so far this season.
All of the right backs assists this season have come at Anfield as have all but two of Liverpool’s clean sheets this season. Round 26 see’s Liverpool forced to play twice with their games against Swansea rescheduled due the Swans involvement in the Capital One Cup final.
So with two games in the upcoming fixture week coming at home against a West Brom side that is struggling to recover their early season form and with the second game coming later in the week against a Swansea side that will have one eye on the cup final Johnson’s prospects of at least one clean sheet is looking good.
