Thursday, February 7th, 2013 at 11:42 am by Phil Mc Grath

With six clean sheets on the cards in round 25 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League managers will be hoping for more of the same as we head into round 26.

The upcoming fixture week is however one with a difference, both Liverpool and Swansea will play twice in the round which will offer fantasy managers an opportunity to bring in players that will play 180 minutes and hopefully produce a decent points haul given the extra fixture.

As usual our coaches here in the Managers Office have been hard at work analysing the fixtures as they strive to find those player who are most likely to give you the greater returns heading into the impending fixture week.

Glen Johnson (Liverpool) £4.2 million Fixtures: West Brom and Swansea (Home)

Glen Johnson has been ever present at the back this season for Brendan Rogers’ side having only misses two games all season back in round 9 and 10 due to injury. The England international has scored one goal and chipped in with four assists for the Reds so far this season.

Ben Davis (Swansea) £3.2 million Fixtures: QPR and Liverpool (Away)

Ben Davis has been a revelation for the Swansea defence since coming into the starting line up back in round 4 and has really begun to show his worth over the last number of weeks with a goal and two assists in his last 12 games.

Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City) £4.7 million Fixture: Southampton (Away)

With one goal and four clean sheets in his last five games Pablo Zabaleta has been on an amazing run of form for City and he looks like showing no sign of slowing down heading into round 26.

Nacho Monreal (Arsenal) £4.2 million Fixture: Sunderland (Away)

The former Malaga defender also offers potential going forward from left back, the Spanish international produced four assists in his debut season at Malaga and followed that up with a goal and three assists in 14 La Liga starts this time before making the move to London, which will come as welcomed news for fantasy managers.
