Having struggled to score goals in recent weeks QPR have a lot riding on the success of Loic Remy, but with news that the former Marseille striker could be sidelined for a couple of weeks will come as a huge blow to QPR and fantasy managers alike.
Remy injured himself in training on Friday and Harry told the press in his post match press conference:
“I have no idea how long he will be out. We will have to see how he is on Sunday and Monday,”
“It was in the last minute of training, and he just struck a ball and felt it go.”
News of Remy’s injury was late to break on Saturday with many fantasy managers unable to take him out prior to the R’s early kick off against the Canaries.
The news now means that Adel Taarabt is now the most likely source of points for fantasy managers over the coming weeks, but after missing a guilt edge chance on Wednesday against Manchester City and then failing to convert from the spot against Norwich fantasy managers may look elsewhere despite the R’s favourable fixtures.
