Will you invest in QPR Players for your Fantasy Football Team?

Queens Park Rangers beat Chelsea with their former pensioner Shaun Wright-Philips scoring the winner from the bench in the 78th minute.

This goal exemplifies the upturn in form that QPR are producing with the talk of a Harry Redknapp miracle still an outside possibility. Adel Taarabt and Shaun Wright-Philips are players that are now on most fantasy premier league managers radar.

QPR are on Form

The victory for the R’s brings them level with Reading at the foot of the table on 13 points. Over the last 6 premier league games QPR have picked up 7 premier league points and are sitting in 11th place in the premier league form table for this period.

Although they were well beaten by Liverpool 3-0 at Loftus Road, QPR were unlucky in defeats against West Brom and Newcastle.

5 positive results from 8 premier league games has given QPR fans hope of premier league survival with Fantasy Premier League managers looking to benefit from this run of form.

The fixture list appears difficult at first glance for QPR but three of their next four games are at home.

Tottenham (H)

West Ham (A)

Man City (H)

Norwich (H)

Adel Taarabt

The obvious selection from QPR is Adel Taarabt who has scored four goals this season and is continuously being played up front by Harry Redknapp.

The Moroccan has been left out of the African Cup of Nations and faces his and Harry’s former club Tottenham in their next Premier League game.

Can QPR maintain their fighting spirit and have Taarabt repeat Wright-Philips feat against Chelsea and score a winning goal against his former London club Tottenham?

Shaun Wright-Philips

The other tempting gamble playing for fantasy football managers is to consider Shaun Wright-Philips who has has had limited appearances for the R’s this season.

Apart from Wright-Philips winning goal against Chelsea the only other fantasy football contribution this season has been an assist away to Wigan. Despite this poor return the former Manchester City player will relish getting a certain starting role which looks more likely due to Hoiletts injury.

Will you back QPR and select any of their players for your fantasy premier league team?
