Chelsea host Manchester City this week and are expected to retain their attacking 4-2-3-1 formation but to play more compact meaning that only players with real class will be able to cut Chelsea open. David Silva is certainly an excellent player and since his return from injury he has started to deliver the good getting a significant amount of fantasy football points too.
David Silva made our Fantasy Premier League Tips team for both Round 12 and Round 13 of the fantasy premier league and this is his second week in a row to make our Captains List too. Last week the Spaniard scored and got two assists against Aston Villa but the task will be more difficult this week for Manchester City.
It is difficult to look past Robin Van Persie for Captain as a hurting Manchester United face QPR after last weeks shock defeat to Norwich. QPR have conceded 11 goals away from home and have only managed one clean sheet at home so far. This is a great opportunity for the Dutchman to add to his five assists and eight goals so far this season.
Another Manchester United player to consider if you can’t afford Van Persie is Antonio Valencia. Despite his intermittent form this weekend gives Ecuadorian International the chance to bag a lot of fantasy premier league points. QPR are weak down the left and have conceded 54 chances down this flank which Valencia will be attacking. With Rooney and Van Persie the players that Valencia will be looking to pick out it could be a good day at the office, not to mention his eye for goal himself.
