The Champions League produced the worst results by English teams as a collective in over seven years with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City all losing. Only Manchester United managed a victory against Braga with Newcastle & Liverpool also winning at home in the Europa League. Tottenham were also in midweek action getting a draw away to Maribor.
This weekend sees the fantasy premier league giants Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon. Last season this game produced a thrilling 3-3 draw and Van Persie also scored a hat-trick in his Arsenal colours at Stamford Bridge too.
Not to mention the Merseyside derby, but that aside here are our final tips for Round 9 of the Irish Times Fantasy Premier League.
