An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive within the Marketing Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of The Irish Times in print and online to readers and advertisers. The role involves the co-ordination and administration of projects within the sponsorship portfolio and the generation of ideas and strategies for new projects.
Applicants must have the ability to develop and maintain relationships and have a flair for digital marketing. Familiarity with the structure of marketing campaigns is a must. He/she must be able to demonstrate excellent marketing, communication and organisational skills and give evidence of flexibility, creativity and self-motivation. The ability to work using one’s own initiative and as part of a team is essential to this role
This is a senior position and the person appointed will be an experienced marketing professional. An interest in and knowledge of the media and an adaptable approach to a fast changing media environment is important.
