There’s a particularly strange mix of races this weekend. Let us know what you’re doing or what we’ve missed. And enjoy your weekend’s running!

SATURDAY
The Clare 10k is on in Ennis, taking in the town and part of the countryside.

Midsummer Mudness is on in Dundalk Co Louth. “Mudness”? Yes, mudness.

In Mayo, Saturday evening’s Ballindine 4 Miler is a little different. “You must guess your time in advance [at registration on the day], and the winner is the person who manages to guess the time most accurately.”

The Eireman X Triathlon and Duathlon is on in Courtown, Co Wexford.

Forget The Gym has marathon and half-marathon workshops on Marathon

The Hell of the West triathlon is on in Kilkee tomorrow morning. Is that the best name for a race in Ireland? Anyway, here’s what it looks like to do it – from a competitor’s point of view. Love it.
