Five of The Irish Times staff are running the Dublin Docklands 8km on Tuesday 18 June. What will our combined time be?
Here’s what you do: read our “form guide”. Guess the combined total of our five times in the race when added together. Post your guess in the comments, or mail your answer to bodyandsole@irishtimes.com (marked “Run Competition”). The person who gets closest to that time, wins their choice of €250 worth of running gear.

What’s your previous best 8k?
I haven’t done an 8k yet, but I did the Great Limerick Run 10k in 1 hour 5 minutes, and the Docklands 5k run in 31 minutes.
How often are you training?
Not often enough … let’s say twice a week.
Any niggly injuries?
Hmmm …I’d love to think of one that I could fall back on if my time for this 8k is REALLY bad, but none to report at the moment …

35:31 in January’s Raheny 5
How often are you training?
Running 2-3 times as part of triathlon training
Any niggly injuries?
A knee that sometimes plays up a bit. Also, while not an injury, I’ve an Olympic Tri two days before this race so could be a little jaded. (That’s my excuse in early, so…)
