Bhí clann aitheanta in Uíbh Fhailí roimh an Ionradh; bhí ceann eile, craobh d'Uí Fiachrach, i Maigh Eo ach, ins na céadta deireannacha, is in Oirghialla agus Tír Chonaill is mó a gheibhtear iad. Brí: sibhal = luath, tapaidh.
