What is the Reader Panel?
The Irish Times Reader Panel is made up of readers like you. Readers offer their opinions on advertising and editorial content appearing in The Irish Times and irishtimes.com and answer surveys on their consumer habits. No matter how frequently or infrequently you read The Irish Times in print or online, you are eligible to be a panel member.
How does it work?
Surveys are conducted through an ongoing series of online questionnaires. For each survey or questionnaire answered, panellists collect points that can be traded for rewards. Our panellists can also enter exclusive Reader Panel draws for tickets to concerts and other events. Panellists are not required to complete every questionnaire – you can do so at your convenience.
By signing up to this panel, we will also add your details (first name, surname and email address only) to The Irish Times marketing database, and may contact you with updates on features, events and products from The Irish Times. If you only wish to participate in The Irish Times Reader Panel and do not wish to be contacted further by The Irish Times, please register and then email us at email@example.com with the words “Opt Out” in the subject field.
Is my feedback anonymous?
Yes, the panel is managed by our business partner, RAM Panel, who return all survey results to us in aggregate form only. All your feedback is therefore anonymous and results are not traceable back to you as an individual.
