Yes, editions of The Irish Times dating back to May 2004 are available to purchase. As part of term subscriptions, 30 days of epaper archives are available.
The epaper is available to view online at www.irishtimes.com/epaper or offline by using the PressReader. To install the PressReader for offline reading or to download the newspaper after the PressReader has been installed, please click on the disk icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the page. Viewing the epaper online requires no additional software and it is compatible with Windows and Macintosh systems.
The PressReader is a platform for offline reading. It allows you to download publications on up to three computers. To install the PressReader, please click on the disk icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the following page: www.irishtimes.com/epaper. There are two system requirements for PressReader installation:
  • Your computer operating system must be Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
  • You must have free Adobe Reader 7.0.5 (or higher) or the commercially-available Acrobat Professional 7.0.5 (or higher) installed. If you do not have either one of these installed, or if your installed version is earlier than 7.0.5, please obtain the latest version by visiting www.adobe.com.
The PressReader download size is 9MB. We recommend a broadband Internet connection of at least 128 kbps to download the PressReader.
To search for a word(s) in the newspaper, enter your search query into the 'Search' field at the top of the page. At present, it is not possible to perform a search in the PressReader.

Yes, with our epaper app you can read The Irish Times in true printed format, enhanced with the latest digital tools. Link to your existing ePaper account to download the paper. The app is available for the iPhone and iPad for free in the App Store.

To check your payment status, click on the 'My Account' icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. After signing in, click on 'Payment History'. You can also print your credit/debit card receipt there.
