Kids go for free

IT'S A FREE WORLD:TRAILFINDERS and Etihad Airways are offering deals to Thailand which include up to four nights free in hotels.

Among those offering free stays is the three-star Centara Karon Resort in Phuket, where an eight-night holiday costs from €929, saving €120 per person. There’s also four nights free at the five-star Centara Grand Beach Resort in Phuket from €1,199 for eight nights staying in a luxury ocean-facing room, saving €410 per person.

In Koh Samui there are two free nights at the five-star Boutique Six Senses Samui, where seven nights costs from €1,399 staying in a villa. There’s also a further 10 per cent room discount.

Catch: offers are valid only for selected departures to June 20th if you book by May 9th.

* BALKAN HOLIDAYS is offering free child places on holidays to Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Romania, with seven-night breaks from £219 (€243) per person on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast. There’s also two weeks for the price of one on selected Bulgarian hotels and apartments. The free child place applies to one child and you pay a discounted rate for a second child from £99 (€110) while a third child is full price. Free child places apply to kids aged two to 11 and apply to 14-night holidays only.

A holiday at the two-star Hotel Arda, Sunny Beach in Bulgaria for a family of four for 14 nights departing June 17th, including a free child place and online booking discount is £1,402 (€1,580) on a BB basis.

There is also a 30kg free luggage allowance on charter flights for people staying at a Premier Selection hotel. No single supplements are apply and group discounts are available. Early booking discounts of up to £371 (€412) per couple also apply.

* THOMAS COOK’S beach-plus activity-based holidays are in nine locations in Greece and Turkey, and kids go free in May and June in Club Teos and Club Phokaia, both in Turkey. The price for Club Teos on the Aegean coast for two adults and two kids, departing June 4th with one child free place, is €1,916 while for Club Phokaia at Mersinaki Bay two adults and two kids with one child free place from June 18th is €2,083.
