A NEWLY discovered species of crab has just been discovered in the Southern Ocean, which has been dubbed “The Hoff” after Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, as it has a hairy chest.

The crabs are found in huge clusters, sometimes 600 per square metre. However, don’t expect the real human “Hoff” to be comparing chest hair with one soon, as the crabs live over 2.5km under the sea where underwater vents can cause the temperature to be up to 380 degrees. Not only have the strange new crabs been discovered, but also a plethora of other never before seen creatures, including octopi and starfish.
