The Women’s Podcast: Songs that hate women

Editors of ‘Under My Thumb: Songs That Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them’, are today’s guests

The book, Under My Thumb: The Songs that Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them, explores this apparent contradiction through a collection of essays by female writers and music fans, writing about the musicians or songs that they have loved despite sexist messaging.

Under My Thumb: The Songs that Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them, edited by Eli Davies and Rhian E Jones, is out now.
