Spring/summer in the air, and wedding bells in the distance

THE SOCIAL NETWORK:Sarah Morrissey stole the show at Louise Kennedy's Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show on Thursday evening at Kennedy's headquarters on Merrion Square. The Irish model ended the show in an "Ali" ivory-beaded silk georgette bridal dress. It was something of a dress rehearsal for Morrissey, who got engaged to Patrick Jennings jnr just before Christmas. Jennings, who plays for St Patrick's Athletic, is a son of former Northern Ireland goalkeeper Pat Jennings.

The master of the National Maternity Hospital, Dr Rhona Mahony, arrived into the show after work. Claire Byrne was chatting to the editor of Image magazine, Melanie Morris. Morris was accompanied by her sister, the artist Melissa Mahon, and their mother, Valerie Morris.

Monnine Burke-Kennedy was accompanied by her daughter, Catherine Burke-Kennedy. Monnine is a sister of Ruairí Quinn and Lochlainn Quinn. Lochlainn’s daughters Ali and Sarah, who work for Louise Kennedy, were also present.
