THERE’S SOMETHING a bit different this week, as Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington comes to Ireland tomorrow, and is holding a training session in Herbert Park, registration at 3.30pm.
The €50 fee to “Run with Chrissie” goes to Crumlin Children’s Hospital and the Jane Tomlinson appeal. Later in the day, at Trinity College Dublin, there’s a talk by Wellington, followed by a QA with triathlete Bryan Keane (€20). See acornireland.ie for more.
Elsewhere, Kerry will be busy, with the Kingdom Come triathlon taking place in Fenit on Saturday (traleetriclub.com).
