FRONTLINES:Is South Anne Street becoming the gourmet epicentre of Dublin? Baking and cooking store Kitchen Complements has moved into a very spacious new shop there, and Karl Purdy has just opened Coffee Angel at number 16A, along from Sheridans Cheesemongers.
A coffee nerd's paradise, the new outlet is in addition to Purdy's two mobile coffee units at the IFSC, and there's a second shop coming soon. As well as coffee to go, Coffee Angel sells all you'll need to make a great cup at home. Cakes and pastries from Sweet Things are delivered daily, and sandwiches will be on the menu just as soon as Purdy finds a supplier to meet his exacting standards. Marie-Claire Digby
